We provide trial defense representation for:
- General Courts-Martial (Felony level offenses, sexual assault, drug distribution)
- Special Courts-Martial (Misdemeanor level, theft, military-specific offenses)
- Article 120, 120b & Sexual Allegations
- Combat and Operational Actions
CRITICAL WARNING
If read your rights under Article 31, UCMJ, refuse to answer any questions or make a statement without an attorney present. Contact us immediately.
Discharge Upgrades & Correction of Records
A bad discharge characterization (e.g., Other Than Honorable, Bad Conduct, or General) can affect your civilian livelihood, GI Bill benefits, and access to VA disability compensation.
We represent veterans before the:
- Discharge Review Boards (DRB): For discharge upgrades based on equity or propriety within 15 years of discharge.
- Boards for Correction of Military Records (BCMR): To correct any error or injustice in your records, with no hard 15-year limit if equity warrants.
- PTSD / TBI / MST equity review upgrades under the Hagel/Kurta memos.
VETERAN ACTION
Administrative Separations & Boards of Inquiry
If your command is attempting to separate you administratively under Chapter 9, 13, or 14, you may have the right to a board hearing. For officers, a Board of Inquiry (BOI) is convened to show cause for retention.
Our legal team will:
- Present evidence of retention merit and counter command narratives.
- Represent you in person before the board panel.
- Prepare GOMOR, Article 15, and adverse evaluation appeals.
BOARD RIGHTS
Soldiers with 6+ years of service (or facing OTH discharge) are entitled to have their cases heard by an administrative board.
